Yes, I know, this sounds like a really stupid question. Who in their right mind would ever consider putting a Kit Kat in a toaster oven? I think the only people who might do this are curious children.
Believe it or not, Nestle – the makers of Kit Kats – created a version of these yummy treats that are meant to be put in a toaster oven. You read that right, they are cooked in the toaster oven!
These treats are called Bake ‘N Tasty Mini Kit Kats and come in custard pudding flavor. What I find most interesting about these is that they are made specifically for toaster ovens. What you do is place the Bake ‘N Tasty Mini Kit Kats in a toaster oven and bake them.
When you first put them in the toaster oven they look like white Kit Kat bars. They change, though, during the baking process. As it heats, the sugar contained within the Kit Kat hardens and transforms each bar into a custard flavored wafer or biscuit that is caramelized. Can you imagine how amazingly wonderful your home would smell as these bake?
Before you get to excited, be aware that these are currently available only in Japan. With any luck Nestle will expand their market for these and sell them around the globe.
